Technical Analysis vs Technical Analysis

I'm not really sure what the difference is between technical analysis and fundamental analysis.  Can anyone really sum it up for me?

I think you had a typo in the title of your post ... but, no worries, of course I still understand it :)

TECHNICAL analysis is what we learn and teach here. It relies 100% on the charts and visuals to view the market in the past and predict the future. If it's on a chart, it's technical in nature.

FUNDAMENTAL analysis is dealing with the internal dealings of the company, the earnings, profits, sectors, and all that boring stuff (sorry, but I had to say it). Traders that use fundamental analysis are looking at numbers and reading news reports to stay in the loop.

So, why am I so heavy on TECHNICAL analysis? It's simple ... I believe all that fundamental junk and EVERYTHING else is already built into the Charts. If anything altered the price in the price for any reason, the charts will show it. So, I don't want to bother myself with reading all the mumbo-jumbo. It just makes me dizzy.

That said, I will admit that i know plenty of traders are exactly the opposite of me and enjoy trading fundamentally ... and they do it successfully. So, to each his own!
